Kim Trowbridge is a native of Orange County, CA and has lived in enough states to know that SoCal is the place to be. He has spent over 20 years helping hundreds of employers of all sizes and industries with their payroll, HR, and benefit technologies. By leveraging enterprise software solutions and excellent service, he’s helped his clients achieve their strategic goals.

In 2005, after his tenure in payroll and enterprise software sales, Kim opened an AmCheck Payroll HR & Benefit administration franchise in Irvine CA with his business partner. During this time, he found that many of the clients were underserved in the marketplace, so he launched Blue Ocean Insurance Agency in 2007 to meet the demands of employers in California. Applying his expertise in these areas has helped his clients achieve a streamlined approach to managing their employees and benefit programs thereby creating their “Blue Ocean”.

In his spare time, he has a passion for helping others and paying it forward. He is actively involved with the Tiger Woods Foundation as a mentor and St. Michaels Christian Academy’s food bank serving the local community.
